CAREER COUNSELING AT SCHOOL
In working with young people and adolescents, the role of the teacher and trainer as a career counselor is to facilitate and support them in identifying the knowledge and skills they have acquired so far.
Aims of the training
• To provide career counselling techniques targeted at three age groups (12-14, 14-16 and 16+);
• To provide useful guidelines for effective group and individual work with pupils and young people when undertaking initial careers guidance;
• To offer advice and skills for working effectively with young people;
GAMIFY YOUR CLASSROOM
During the training course, the participants will learn how to use gamification design to motivate the students, enhance their involvement in the topic and stimulate them in dealing with the sub-tasks.
Aims of the training
• To get aware with gamification and its use in education;
• To gain knowledge about gamification and games in education;
• To be able to create own games as a part of the educational process;
• To gain skills on integration of gamification into the daily educational environment;
• To be able to facilitate and reflect after the gamified activities and games;
EDUCATIONAL MEDIATION
The training will enable learners to acquire professional knowledge, skills, and competences to create and maintain a calm and tolerant educational environment for everyone engaged through the use of educational mediation tools. The training on peer mediation will educate students to be in position of educational mediators.
Aims of the training
• Actively participate as educational mediators in mediation procedures between the parties in educational conflicts;
• Active participation in peer mediation procedures;
• Application of constructive methods in conflict resolution;
• Use of nonviolent communication;
