znam i moga ltd logo2 Name: LeadHER: Teaching Framework for boosting ICT literacy and jobs for girls in basic and secondary education

The project aims to address the gender gap in ICT literacy and careers through gender-responsive education and policymaking. Targeting Bulgaria, Portugal, and Spain, it will be implemented over two school years.

LeadHER's primary goal is to address barriers that prevent girls from pursuing ICT studies and careers, aiming to create a sustainable impact on gender equality in the sector. This includes enhancing girls' exposure to ICT through tailored pedagogy and resources, fostering their interest, and dismantling stereotypes.

Key activities include developing and implementing the LeadHER ICT Gender Balance Teaching Framework, which includes: structured mentoring schemes that connect girls with female role models in ICT; a Teachers' Toolbox ensuring educators can create inclusive classrooms that support and encourage girls; a programme to engage families and community members to foster broad support for girls' interests in ICT.
